Take-a-Seat
Take a Seat is a simple concept, whereby local businesses and community and voluntary organisations display a window sticker advertising that a seat can be provided to an older person, should they need to catch their breath whilst out and about in the local community – helping to reduce social isolation and enabling older people to feel safe and maintain their independence. We can even provide a seat free of charge should it be required!
Business details are added to the NCC Take a Seat web page and participants are added to the Age Friendly Nottingham Bulletin circulation.
