You are warmly invited to an evening with the Nottinghamshire Coroner, Miss Casey, to learn about her work, and cases relating to the misadventure, misuse and abuse of medicines.

We will start the evening with a buffet supper in the School of Pharmacy Building (26) from 18:30, the talk will be held in B3 Lecture Theatre in Life Sciences Building next door.

Miss Casey started her career in the Coronial world in 2005, and became Assistant Deputy to Dr Chapman in Nottingham in 2009, taking over as HM Coroner for Nottinghamshire on his retirement in 2011. In 2014, Miss Casey was honoured as an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine in Nottingham and in July, was appointed as a Master of the Bench at the Inner Temple, roles through which she hopes to promote a greater understanding of the work of the Coroner.
