HLP What’s Next event – 27.09.17

27th September 2017 7pm

School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham

Michelle Dyoss is now working with Nottinghamshire LPC to assist pharmacy contractors with HLP. Michelle Dyoss is a Public Health Specialist who has worked with LPCs since 2008 and successfully implemented and managed HLP in several areas across the West Midlands, as well as supporting nationally. She has witnessed how HLP has made a difference to pharmacists and their teams, commissioners and the public.

And is here now to help you!

Achieving Healthy Living Pharmacy Level 1 is now a Quality Payment criterion for the Quality Payments Scheme. 2017/18 and is worth 20 points. But do you know what evidence you need to prove that you meet the criteria:

Have you completed the correct training?

Are you aware of your local health needs?

Do you know where to signpost patients locally?

Are you pro-actively promoting health and wellbeing?

What should a Health Promotion Zone look like?

What classes as outreach work?

Who are my local commissioners?

How could our pharmacy improve the health of our community?

How does this all fit in with the work we already do?

There is now support for Nottinghamshire contractors who have already achieved HLP status but may not have evidence, for those part way through their HLP journey and for pharmacies just starting with HLP.

The event will be held on the 27Th September , Pharmacy Building, Nottingham University. Book now to avoid disappointment.
