HLP Champion training – 18th June 2018

18th June 2018 9am - 5pm

Gedling & Sherwood Cricket Club, Regatta Way, West Bridgford

Have you a got a qualified Health Champion in place to claim QPS payments in June?

These workshops are being run at short notice to enable contractors to have a team member trained as a health champion in time for the June declaration date.

A key element of the Quality Payment Scheme for community pharmacies in England is for them to be accredited as a Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP). One criteria for continued accreditation as a HLP is that a full time equivalent team member is qualified as a Health Champion. This workshop will prepare participants to succeed at the RSPH qualification for Health Champions.
The workshops will be delivered during the day and will be followed by the assessment which is an MCQ assessment paper. Candidates have 45 minutes to complete the 30 questions and successful completion will provide participants with the Level 2 in Understanding Health Improvement, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. More information and a sample assessment paper can be found at http://www.hlptraining.co.uk/champions.html .

The workshop will run from 9am – 5pm (including the assessment). Registration will be available from 8.30am, Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

There are two workshops on the 18th and 19th June. Click on the links to book onto the events.
