DMIRS LAUNCH EVENT – NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

We are pleased to invite you to the launch event of the Digital Minor Illness Referral Service (DMIRS) due to start in the East Midlands including Nottinghamshire in October 2018.

The School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham, Nottingham

Thursday 13th September

6.30pm – 9.00pm ( buffet available at 6.30pm)

DMIRS is a service where calls to NHS 111 for low acuity conditions are referred to community pharmacies by PharmOutcomes. The patient attends the pharmacy for a face-to-face consultation and the outcome could be advice only, advice plus sale of a product or escalation. DMIRS is funded by the Pharmacy Integration Fund and attracts a fee of £14 per consultation payable on completion of PharmOutcomes.

The launch event is your opportunity to learn how to provide the service successfully in your pharmacy.  There will be a chance to ask questions, work through some scenarios and share insights from colleagues in North East England who have been running the service since December 2017.

Please book your place on Eventbrite  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/dmirs-launch-event-nottinghamshire-tickets-49594554648.

This event is particularly for the pharmacist who will be providing the service.  However, if the pharmacist is unable to attend then a suitable deputy (such as a pharmacy technician or manager) is welcome.

Launch events are also happening in Leicestershire (11th September), Derbyshire (12th September) and  Lincolnshire (27th September). If you wish to attend one of those instead because the date is more convenient, please go to the relevant LPC website for links to their booking systems.

We hope to see you on Thursday 13th September for this exciting launch
