According to the charity, Mind, Depression affects 2.6 per 100 people, and mixed anxiety and depression affects 9.7 per 100 people. (1)
So regardless of your area of practice you might want to find out more. Therefore I am hosting a CPPE Depression Focal Point event on 7 Oct 2014 at the Poppy and Pint, West Bridgford, Nottingham. This informal evening of group learning will start at 7.30pm and end at 9.00pm. There will be a buffet from 7.00pm.
To book, log in to www.cppe.ac.uk. Select the “learning” tab and then “events / workshops” from the drop down menu. Then select “events in my area“. Click on the East Midlands region on the map and events will appear in date order. Alternatively you can phone 0161 778 4000 during office hours and quote event reference 43218 and our customer service team will help you with your booking. Please do not hesitate to email me for further information at emma.anderson@cppe.ac.uk
