Pharmacy visit by Lee Anderson MP – Well Pharmacy, Kirkby in Ashfield on 17th October 2025
Lee Anderson MP visited the Well Pharmacy in Kirkby in Ashfield on Friday 17th October 2025 to offer support for pharmacy and had his blood pressure taken as part of the national service that pharmacies provide. Rob Severn, Chair of Community Pharmacy Nottinghamshire, is also meeting with Lee at his constituency office in November to discuss community pharmacy services and funding in more detail.
Pharmacy visit by Lillian Greenwood MP – Well Pharmacy, Clifton on 12th September 2025
We were delighted that Lillian Greenwood MP visited Well Pharmacy in Clifton to support the Know Your Numbers campaign by having her blood pressure checked by pharmacist Andreas Ioannou.
Community Pharmacy Nottinghamshire invited all MPs that are eligible for the service to attend pharmacy for a blood pressure check to support pharmacy and see first hand the service that their constituents receive.

Pharmacy visit by Alex Norris MP – Bestwood Pharmacy on 6th August 2025
We were delighted to support Raza Ali from Bestwood Pharmacy recently when Alex Norris MP visited his pharmacy.
Alex acknowledged that Raza’s pharmacy plays a key role in providing healthcare for patients in his constituency. During the visit, Raza, Nick and Rob were able to raise a number of significant concerns about challenges facing pharmacies with Alex and offer solutions. As a result, Alex has written to the Health Minister to inform him of these challenges and how they can be solved.

The LPC are currently writing to the MPs and Councillors in the Nottinghamshire and Bassetlaw area regarding interest in pharmacy re Community Pharmacy contract funding and inviting them to visit a pharmacy in their area.
