Each month, a total of £212,000 (£1,000 per contractor) is available to contractors across Derbyshire who complete more than 30 clinical pathway consultations.

However, a significant proportion of this funding is lost each month because contractors do not meet the required 30 consultations, or only partially meet the threshold. (£76,500 in December).

Our discussions with pharmacists across the system have highlighted that there may be some confusion around what constitutes “meeting the gateway”, resulting in many legitimate claims being missed.

This session aims to support contractors and their teams to better understand the gateway changes and to help ensure that more of the £212,000 available is successfully claimed each month.
